Tsukiji is now a well-known sight seeing place in Tokyo for all visitors.
It is a huge seafood market, that is the biggest fish market in the world. You will be surprised that there are so many seafood, gathered and distributed to all over the Japan and also to the world.
The restaurants were originally developed for people who were working in the market. The typical example is Yoshinoya, the popular beef bowl fast food restaurant in Japan. The first-open shop of Yoshinoya started from Tsukiji. The fast food type of restaurant, quick, cheap and taste good, was the best for workers and buyers there at first. Even for Japanese visitors, it is hard to choose today's SUSHI lunch in Tsukiji, because we do not know the best in price, taste and services. This list would be also very helpful to choose it even for Japanese visitors. According to their research, the range for lunch would be from 1000yen to 5000yen, that is relatively reasonable for SUSHI lunch in Japan. Most of the Sushi restaurants have a set menu, so if you are not sure which to order, you should not hesitate starting from the set menu.
